How could I organize personal letters into a scrapbook?

I’m making a scrapbook for me and my boyfriend that chronicles our relationship from the start to today. However, I’ve come across a scrapbook block. During one point of our relationship, he was at bootcamp for the military and we were only allowed to write letters to each other. I want to include all the letters we wrote to each other in the scrapbook and organize them in a way that would showcase the letters front and back… but still not take up too much space. I was thinking of maybe scanning them and shrinking them.. but then what? There’s about 30 letters total. Let me know your ideas! thank you

Do you REALLY want everyone that could ever pick up your scrapbook to read those letters?

I suggest a pocket page. Or, you could scan them and shrink to fit on the back of picture mats and put on the page as hidden journaling. Basically you lift the picture and mat to review the letter behind. That way you could put one on the back of the photo and one on the page (your letter to him and his response to you). That way the letters are in the book but for certain eyes only. There are many sites that could guide you on this. Just do a search for scrapbook hidden journaling and you should get a lot of hits.
